We started with a meeting at Ty Cae HQ – where Creating Media thought it would be a good idea to use the pastel shades from around the building in the logo. I also wanted to include overlapping circles to represent the wide range of complementary services I offer, but at the same time keep a clean and minimal feel to all of my new materials. From a range of initial designs we drilled down till we found the perfect logo.
The next stage was to design the stationery suite – business cards, letterheads and compliments slips to use in my day-to-day work and networking.
Then the first designs for the website were started. To avoid the common pitfall of obvious stock photography on my website, Creating Media said that they could create custom illustrations to use throughout the site. Together we decided upon a style of slightly vintage-styled office equipment, like a typewriter and old-fashioned style airmail envelope, to represent my services. These are heavily featured throughout the site, which makes my services really prominent.
They also set up my LinkedIn page to complete my social media presence – a really helpful tool to share updates with any followers.
Creating Media also design a banner stand for me to take to networking events and use for promotion. The illustrations are used on it, and it looks really striking when it’s up.
I am thrilled to have a great professional brand to use for my business and can’t wait to go from strength to strength with the new materials that Creating Media have designed and produced for me!
